  • 1 teaspoon Strawberry Extract – Adds that extra punch of real strawberry taste.
  • Valentine’s Mix edible Sprinkles – These add sparkle and fun—think pinks, whites, and reds.

How to Make Pink Strawberry Fudge

Okay, ready to make this pink perfection happen? Here we go, step by step, easy as can be.

Step 1: Prep your pan

Line your 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. This makes it easy to lift the fudge out once it’s set, and it keeps things neat. You can also lightly spray the paper with nonstick spray if you want to be extra safe.

Step 2: Melt the pink candy melts

In a microwave-safe bowl, add your 1 cup of strawberry-flavored pink candy melts. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring between each one, until the candy is smooth and creamy. This usually takes about 1 to 1.5 minutes total. Be patient, it’s worth the wait!

Step 3: Stir in the frosting and strawberry extract

Once the pink melts are fully melted, fold in your container of buttercream frosting and 1 teaspoon of strawberry extract. Stir gently but thoroughly until everything is combined. It will smell amazing and look like soft, fluffy strawberry clouds.

Step 4: Melt the red candy melts

In a second microwave-safe bowl, melt your 1 cup of red candy melts the same way, in short bursts, stirring in between, until smooth.

Step 5: Swirl it up

Now the fun part! Pour the pink fudge mixture into your prepared pan and smooth it out. Then, spoon dollops of the melted red candy melts on top. Use a butter knife or skewer to gently swirl the red into the pink for a marbled effect. You don’t need to be perfect, just swirl a little until it looks pretty.

Step 6: Add sprinkles

Before the fudge sets, sprinkle the top with your Valentine’s sprinkles. If you’re using heart-shaped sprinkles, scatter them on now too. Press them in just a bit so they stick.

Step 7: Chill and cut

Pop the pan into the fridge and let the fudge set for at least 2 hours. Once it’s firm, lift it out using the parchment paper, cut it into squares, and serve!

Tips

  • Use fresh frosting – If your frosting’s been sitting in the pantry for ages, it might be too stiff. A fresh container gives the best texture.
  • Let the melts cool slightly – If your candy melts are super hot, they can make the frosting separate. Let them cool for a minute or two before stirring.
  • Store in the fridge – Keep your fudge in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. You can also freeze it for longer storage (but we’ve never had leftovers that long!).

Make It Your Own

This recipe is super flexible, which I love. You can totally customize it to match your party theme or the holiday you’re celebrating.

  • Birthday Party? Use rainbow sprinkles and funfetti melts!
  • Christmas Treat? Go with green melts and peppermint extract.
  • Baby Shower Vibes? Try baby blue and pastel pink colors.

Perfect for Gifting, Too!

I’ve wrapped these little fudge squares in clear bags with a ribbon for Valentine’s Day gifts, teacher treats, and party favors. Just pop a few in a cute box or bag, and you’ve got the sweetest homemade gift that says, “I made this with love!”

So there you have it, my go-to Pink Strawberry Fudge recipe. It’s simple, sweet, and seriously hard to resist. Whether you’re making it for a party, a treat table, or just because the week needs a little sparkle, this fudge brings the fun, and the flavor.
