Go ahead and set your air fryer to 380°F. If your air fryer doesn’t have a preheat function, just let it run empty for a couple of minutes while you prep the carrots.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the olive oil, thyme, oregano, pepper, and salt. Give it a little stir it doesn’t have to be fancy, just well mixed.
Add the baby carrots right into the bowl with the oil and spices. Toss everything together until the carrots are well coated. This is a great job for little hands if you’ve got a helper nearby (though be warned, sometimes they sneak a raw carrot or two in the process!).
Pour the carrots into the air fryer basket in a single layer. No overlapping give them some space so they can roast evenly. Cook for 15 to 18 minutes, giving the basket a shake about halfway through. This helps everything cook evenly and get those tasty, caramelized edges.
