Air Fryer Roast Carrots

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb bag of baby carrots no need to peel or chop which already feels like a win.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil helps the carrots get that perfect roasted texture.
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt adjust to taste especially if your carrots are on the sweeter side.

Instructions
 

  • Go ahead and set your air fryer to 380°F. If your air fryer doesn’t have a preheat function, just let it run empty for a couple of minutes while you prep the carrots.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the olive oil, thyme, oregano, pepper, and salt. Give it a little stir it doesn’t have to be fancy, just well mixed.
  • Add the baby carrots right into the bowl with the oil and spices. Toss everything together until the carrots are well coated. This is a great job for little hands if you’ve got a helper nearby (though be warned, sometimes they sneak a raw carrot or two in the process!).
  • Pour the carrots into the air fryer basket in a single layer. No overlapping give them some space so they can roast evenly. Cook for 15 to 18 minutes, giving the basket a shake about halfway through. This helps everything cook evenly and get those tasty, caramelized edges.
