Smoked Salmon Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese room temp is best, but we’re not here to judge
  • 4 oz smoked salmon fancy lox or whatever’s on sale it all works
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill don’t stress dried works in a pinch
  • 1 tbsp capers aka the briny little flavor bombs
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Start by tossing the cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, and lemon juice into your food processor. Give it a good whirl until everything’s smooth and happy together.
  • Add in your smoked salmon, dill (pull off the stems, unless you’re into extra crunch), capers, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Pulse just a few times seriously, don’t overdo it. You want little bits of salmon for texture. Think: chunky spread, not baby food.
  • Give it a taste. Maybe add a touch more lemon if you like it zippy, or an extra pinch of pepper if you’re feeling sassy.
  • Grab some toast, crostini, crackers, or even veggie sticks if you’re leaning healthy. Throw it all on a platter and watch the magic happen.
