Sweet Potato Bites

There’s nothing better than these bite-sized Fall treats to share with family and friends. These Sweet Potato Bites are basically Thanksgiving on a tray, soft, caramelized sweet potatoes topped with gooey toasted marshmallows, a drizzle of maple syrup, and a crunchy pecan to finish it all off.

Sweet Potato Bites

They’re also super easy to make (which is exactly what we need during the holiday madness, right?). You only need a handful of ingredients, and in under 40 minutes, you’ve got a dish that looks fancy but is secretly the easiest thing ever.

Whether you’re setting out appetizers before the big turkey dinner, or you just want a fun snack to enjoy with a mug of apple cider, these little bites will disappear faster than you can say “save me one!”

Pop the tray back under the broiler for 2–3 minutes, keeping a close eye so the marshmallows don’t burn (they toast quickly!).

Once golden and gooey, remove from oven and gently press a pecan half on top of each marshmallow.

Tips & Variations

Make it ahead: You can roast the sweet potatoes earlier in the day, then just add the syrup, marshmallows, and pecans before serving.

Mini version: Slice the sweet potatoes thinner or cut each round in half for bite-sized appetizers. Perfect for Thanksgiving parties!

Spice it up: Sprinkle a little cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice over the sweet potatoes before baking for extra fall flavor.

Nut-free option: Swap the pecans for pumpkin seeds or just leave them off, still delicious.
