Here’s What You’ll Need:
Tip from experience: Grab an extra box of Swiss Cake Rolls… just in case. Kids (and grown-ups) tend to sneak a few when you’re not looking.

How to Make Christmas Reindeer Treats
1. Unwrap those Swiss Cake Rolls.
Go ahead and take all the little guys out of their wrappers and set them on a clean surface. I like to line them up like little soldiers it makes the decorating part a lot faster.
2. Insert a craft stick into the base of each roll.
Push it in gently but firmly. You want it nice and secure so your reindeer doesn’t slide off mid-bite!

3. Make the antlers.
Take your large pretzel twists and carefully snap them in half. Don’t worry if they’re a little uneven real reindeer antlers aren’t perfect either! Insert one half into each side of the Swiss Cake Roll, right near the top.

4. Add the eyes.
Dab a tiny bit of Nutella or chocolate frosting on the back of two candy eyes and stick them onto the Swiss Cake Roll, about two-thirds of the way up. If they’re a little wonky, it just adds to the charm.

5. Add the nose.
Now for the star of the show Rudolph’s nose! Add a little frosting to the back of a red candy and press it just under the eyes.

6. Repeat for all your reindeer friends.
Set them upright on a tray and admire your adorable herd!
Tips to Make It Even Easier
- Don’t stress about perfection.
If an antler falls off or a nose is a little crooked, no worries! These treats are meant to be fun. Your guests will love them because they’re full of personality. - Get the kids involved.
Honestly, this is the perfect project for little hands. You do the pretzel antlers (since they’re a little delicate), and let the kids go wild with the eyes and noses. Be prepared for a lot of giggles and maybe a few reindeer with candy eyes on their backs. - Prep ahead if needed.
You can totally make these a day in advance. Just store them in an airtight container at room temperature. They’ll stay fresh and festive! - Change it up!
If you can’t find Swiss Cake Rolls, Ho-Ho’s work too!

Why These Swiss Cake Roll Reindeer Are Party MVPs
I’m telling you if you show up with a tray of these at a holiday party, you’re going to be the hero. Kids’ eyes light up when they see them.
Low mess, high cuteness. Total win.
A Few Extra Fun Ideas
If you want to sprinkle a little extra magic, here are a few bonus ideas:
- Add scarves: Pipe on a little frosting scarf in bright colors.
- Make a reindeer herd display: Stand them up in a bed of shredded coconut “snow.”
- Use different colored noses: Make a few reindeer with brown M&M noses (Dasher, Dancer, Prancer… you get the idea).

I hope you enjoy making these Christmas treats with your kids and family
